About me

I am a Political Scientist with a PhD from Duke University, a PARISS fellow, and a James B. Duke Scholar.

My studies are in American Politics and Methodology, and I am more specifically interested in political parties, Congress, elections, campaigns, social network analysis, multidimensional scaling, and Bayesian statistics.

I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2006 with Honors in Political Science and in the College of Arts & Sciences. I currently reside in Durham, NC with my beautiful wife Summar.

See the “Recently” page for an updated list of recent work and current projects, and my collaborative blog is.R() for daily R code, tips, and ideas.
